It's never easy to explain what I do.

Someone inevitably asks, "So what do you do for a living?" If I respond with, "I'm a content creator." I'm immediately tossed into a pile of YouTubers and others I'm not too keen on calling peers. But if I lay it out in detail, it makes the conversation awkward and much too lengthy. 

So, I usually keep it to, "I'm an editor." 

As of late, I feel like it's time to crack that egg... in small doses. 

I am an editor for and contributor to one of the hunting industry's leading and most longstanding marketing and entertainment companies. More specifically, their groundbreaking app, which is right in the middle of revolutionizing scouting and hunting for North America's most popular game animal; the white-tailed deer. 

I'm also a photographer. I have to be for my writing, and I love it. It fits the "Share the Wild" message so well that there would be a huge void if I didn't.

And these two things together in today's world almost require an element of videography chops to be successful... I guess I'll add that to the resume too.  

So in an effort to deal out those small doses of "what I do", I'll be creating a weekly update to do the best I can to "Share the Wild" with you. It might be a series of articles I've written, a new image collection you can choose from, or a simple update from the field. No matter what, this is going to be an exciting way to bring you along. So stay tuned!
